Thank you for making this post and keeping it up top; I wanted you to know it's making a difference. I actually came to your journal to steal an icon (and possibly took more *blush*) and then saw this. I'd never thought much about how they find donors or becoming one before, but I should have a cheek-swabbing kit of my very own arriving next week. I hope all has gone well with the partial matches you found for your relative, and that more people hear about donating.
