Things I have learned today:
Vanilla ice cream will not do for milk in a pinch in Kraft Dinner. Do not try.
A pattern that says it should be 4.5 stitches/inch and then calls for 80 stitches total to go around your head equals a 17,78 inches circumference. Which is smaller than my admittedly small head, at like 21 inches or so.
FAIL.
So I wasn't failing, it was the PATTERN. I will tink out the bit that I knit straight, and keep adding stitches. We shall see what we shall see.
