(no subject)
I had my early birthday celebration last night, because my parents really wanted to celebrate my birthday with me this year. Dad made an amazing meal, with the garlic sausage on sauerkraut with barbeque sauce all over it, and then baked. We also had monkey buns, and double stuffed potatoes, and this delicious spinach with feta cheese and candied pecans salad. And green beans!
My grandma made me my carrot cake birthday cake, and my mom iced it. It was super delicious!
After dinner, which fly_girl and her husband joined us for, I opened up presents that were here. Guess what, roman_cement? I HAVE SO MUCH CLASSIC WHO FOR YOU TO WATCH NOW. I got Black Orchid, and Inferno, and Robots of Death, and the whole Trial of a Time Lord season! And Sense and Sensibility, and a present that I asked for from fly_girl a while ago *coughforevercough*, and the money to buy myself a watch. DDDDDDDDDDDDD
After, we watched a couple of Poirots, and then played Scene it. fly_girl, her SO, and I won!! (Darn it, he's got to get an LJ so I can just *link* to his name!)
While we were watching poirot, most of us were knitting or crocheting. Mom and fly_girl were crocheting, and grandma and I were knitting. We were trying to convince everyone to learn how to do some form of fiber craft, but they just weren't going for it.
Today we're going to go and check out the cotta-CABIN. The cabin. We are out to check out the cabin! It'll be cool to see how much it's changed since I've seen it last.
