Last night the Wulf wound up watching “Wife Swap” (truly a rare moment), mostly because one of the families participating followed the faith of Faerie Worship, something that for years has fascinated the Wulfster. Now then the Wulf considers himself a devoted Wiccan, and a true son of the Goddess, but watching these people made the Wulf wonder, is he in fact a hypocrite, as the “Faerie Family” had problems with the other families “Moto-Cross lifestyle” partly for the reason that the motor bikes spewed a great deal of long chain fluorocarbons, and this does indeed concern the Wulf, as he truly loves good old Mother Earth, and well the Wulf drives an SUV. But this is for a reason, as the Wulf does have a 5 year old son, and participates in activities such as Dagorhir, and let’s face it, shields, swords, axes, bows, and armor take up quite a bit of room! But to be honest if the Wulfster were offered a green friendly vehicle (i.e. something like a hybrid), which although smaller than the Wulf’s already cramped SUV, would significantly cut down on the amount of emissions released into the atmosphere, would the Wulf take it?
And there in lies the Wulf’s quandary dear gentle readers, would I accept and help save Mother Earth, or would the Wulf keep his regular SUV, along with its roomy back end (perfect for my camping equipment). Honestly the Wulf can, with a heavy heart, say that he probably would not inconvenience himself with the smaller vehicle, even though the Wulf hates hypocrisy with every ounce of his being. Oh self loathing, wherefore art thou?! To be completely honest though gentle readers and good friends, given the chance (and money) the Wulfster would gladly convert his SUV over to Bio-Diesel, and run off McDonald’s finest grease (that way no only could it help satisfy the Wulf’s nasty, guilty cravings, but run his vehicle!)
To that “Faerie Family”, the Wulf salutes you my dear pagan friends, for you truly have the wherewithal to follow your beliefs, even though it may inconvenience you, and kudos to all the Wulf’s friends (both known and yet to have been met), whom like this family stand up for their beliefs and help care for our ravaged environment….
Brightest Blessings,
Wulf Stormhand
