So, I was bored and bumming around on irc, you know how it goes. Irc at this day and age is mostly useless, even more so when you start to involve yourself on the sorcery server.
I love it when people start to complain about working retail in the holidays and dealing with people. It's one of those things were if you work retail, it's a "no shit" outcome that unless you quit, you will deal with people on holidays and yes, they are rude, they want what they want and to get the fuck out of there.
If you don't want to deal with these type of people, although granted not everybody who does holiday shopping is rude, or a complete dumbass with the mental IQ of a two year old. Quit. If you dislike retail and don't want to deal with people during the holiday season, quit, nobody will miss you unless you're a manager, or you're pretty goddamn friendly.
It almost reminds me of GameStop when I started in August, it was awesome, swell, cool as snow.
Then later on some dickhead has to come in and start fucking around and screwing things up. It chaffes my willy, to steal a line from Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Either way, my job is okay, the hours have finally settled down to a normal amount of hours, although one thing baffles me, aren't all part time workers supposed to work no more than 26 hours unless they're a full time worker? I remember that at GameStop, I told the DM I was working 28 or 38 hours, and he told me I wasn't supposed to work anything over 26 unless I was full time. Well, the question applies solely to those of who live in good ol TEJAS.
....Sorry, texas.
Then I told him Alice and another worker(the second third-key) had suddenly shot up 20 hours in one day. A tad impossible neh?
Eitehr way. Thanksgiving was....thanksgiving. There isn't anything great about it, nor is there anything terribly horrible. While it's not one of my favorite holiday "seasons" per say, it's not something I'm drawn to automatically hate, I'd like to think of myself as rather indifferent on it. Hopefully christmas will be the same, although like hell I'm going to be at somebody else's place for christmas..and I have to return a call to somebody, they wished me happy thanksgiving and I havn't had the time, nor the right mood with my head splitting headache to return the call.
To end this: Wal-Mart workers are generally the dumbest bastards I've ever seen.
