I like how the 'shiny new toy' part kinda referenced to Elle's state of mind with Future!Claire's...or at least that's how I saw it xD Poor Peter sure picks the violent ones, ;)

BTW, last week's episode: "You should've never come to Texas, you should've never saved me, you should've never become my friend or my hero."

I was totally expecting her to say, "You should've never let me fall in love with you." XD I knew she wasn't but it would've fit SO WELL with what she was saying.
