Author's Note: ... at the beginning because there are three different stories! Just a couple of 100-word drabbles written for
pairechallenge. :)
PS: summarising 100-word drabbles is SO HARD to do without spoiling the whole thing. XD

Title: In The Shadows
Rating: PG
Warnings: Not unless you haven't seen Homecoming.
Summary: Peter reminisces.
He stares at his ceiling in the middle of the night, watching as the shadows dance and weave with the headlights of passing cars. In his mind they create pictures, drawing him back to that night so many years ago.
They form a man with a lust for blood glinting in his eyes. They form a long, empty hallway, almost desolate in its quiet.
Most vividly of all, he sees her -- her in her blue sweater, smiling that sad smile. Her with unadulterated fear in her eyes, running for her life.
He sees her, and wishes for those simpler days.
Title: Soul
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Nothing.
Summary: Claire's tantalising.
His body quakes at her touch, shuddering, quivering, trembling in a way he knows it definitely should not. He manages, somehow, to still it in its tracks, and he hopes, desperately hopes, that it’s not as obvious as he feels it probably is.
But there’s a certain light in her eyes, a sly kind of tilt to her smile that makes him feel as though she knows precisely what she’s doing to him. That she knows and she does it anyway because deep down she just doesn’t care.
Deep down, in the innermost recesses of his soul, he doesn’t either.
Title: Home
Rating: PG
Warnings: Nothing.
Summary: A reunion.
It’s the first time he’s seen her in months, and he takes her in his arms, drawing her close and tracing nonsensical patterns down her spine as she clutches at the back of his shoulders through his shirt.
“I missed you,” she whispers into his chest, the words slicing straight through his skin and bones and striking right at his heart.
“I missed you too,” he says into her hair, shutting his eyes and reveling in the feeling only she seems to inspire in him. The feeling of being, the feeling of belonging to something greater.
The feeling of home.
