This is Elaina...
Me: Elaina, put the puzzle in your room.
Elaina: Okay! [then she stops and says] This is my hello kitty puzzle. I got it from McDonalds. I like puzzle pieces. They're sparkly!
Me: Okay. Elaina, just put it away okay.
Elaina: [half-way to her room she turns around and says] I want another puzzle for Christmas. Like this one. Can daddy get me... um... a new one? Or can I have a horse... a purple one. I like purple, sparkly horses! Look! Mommy I am a horse! [gets down on all fours]
Me: Elaina, PUT IT IN YOUR ROOM!
Elaina: [sad face] Mommy, you hurt my feelings.
