It was the night after finals and all around campus
reverberated the sound of the last leaving old bus.
My final drawings were mounted snugly on black board
and last professors were singing A's and B's all in accord.
I at home, all comfy at the table,
as I was dreaming of my rpg Fable.
But what wondrous thing should my ears hear
but a soothing loading of the fps game FEAR.
The OS was finished, my eyes all a gleaming,
but the game server seemed all but teeming.
I'd finally spawned in a room, its computers giving a glow,
the players were loaded, it was time for a jolly good show!
I set the fuses and lay my proximity mines with care,
the level was set with detonators almost everywhere.
Yet the out of the corner of my eye
should I see the chat text, "die".
Out of no where did a grenade come with a flash
as I tried to escape with a terrible mad dash.
As I fell, the culprit came into sight,
I saw him for a moment, a terrible blight.
His gun was polished and visor with glitter
One could see his ammo he did not fritter.
He passed with a chuckle, obviously of delight,
Of an easy opponent killed with hardly a fight.
The match ended without to much to presume.
I thought I might do better with the old Doom.
As I signed off, my foe came into light
To exclaim "Happy frag to all and to all a good night."
