(no subject)
usually, sembreak or break for that matter, for means Home + dvd's + computer games + food + sleep = happiness. i'm easy that way. just a steady supply of things to watch and play and i'm good to go, well until school starts and again and all hell breaks loose. but this break, was a different kind of break. even before the break starts, i had a plan of reaching the musician in me. i had downloaded a ton of piano pieces and wanted to try them out this break. at least 2 to 3 popular songs and i'm all good. it was a perfect plan; usual routine plus playing some instruments to keep me busy for the next 3 weeks. however, things dont go according to plan. well, in a good way that is. out of the blue, my mom wanted to perform in their HS reunion this May by playing the guitar. she said that she was the "best". of course i believed her. She then looked for a song, then canvassed for her own guitar. She wanted to buy a 16k Fender guitar at Yamaha. wow, for a one time big time performance, that is a lot. i mean, wow, 16k. that is a lot of money. i tried to urge my mom to buy the 6k worth guitar made by RJ instead of fender, but then again, who am i to stop my mom from spending her hard earned money. i mean she has the right to spend it the way she wanted. bottom line, the guitar is in my room, waiting to be used by my mother. then it got me thinking... why not learn how to play the guitar?

bottom line. how's my guitar skills? meh... just meh, after a month, i say its a good meh i have chosen a song, 3 chord song, that could very well be cheated. yet i'm still learning the instrument. there are times that i wanted to stop trying and go back to piano. but, guitar is very easy to bring, like my kahon. by the way, the free-guitar-from-buying-a-16k-worth-guitar-from-yamaha has arrived yesterday. so basically i ahve a guitar to rock on! practice nights every fri night. hope i can maintain it. especially valentine's coming. as if may haharanahan ako. parang loko...
