YEAH for friends!
Blue Door opened on Friday, it was a very good show. When it starts to getting produced, if you ever have a chance to see it (especially with good actors), do it. The opening party was good. Went to the bar for a bit after that, that was kinda lame - noone showed up really so there were like 4 of us and that was it. But then I went to Denny's with Courtney for some much needed girl-talk time so that made up for the bar crappiness.
Then yesterday I slept in till 11, got up and did a little apartment cleaning, by no means am I cought up on that - but it's a start. Then last night I met up with Jess and Randy at a poker tournament where Jess and I hung aroung for a little bit and then we took off and hung out for the rest of the night (till 3:30 in the morning when Randy finally got done and showed up, needless to say Jess was ready to go home hours before that). It had been a while since we got to hang out and bs and just be me and Jess, so it was really nice. And I held a sleeping Alexis for several hours, which is always wonderful and centering and makes me feel better about the world. She's getting so big, she really plays with you now - it's so much fun. And she kept crying at all kinds of people, almost everyone who looked at her - except me, probably just coincidental but it still makes me feel like a very loved Auntie. :o)
Am running board for the kiddie tour today - they are doing a one day gig in Nicholas, lights up lights down no biggie, it's nice cause it's extra money and i'm out by 6ish so I still get my evening. Ok, gotta go do this show thing....
