OK, I tried to be fair, and thought maybe because it was KH problem with the lagging/freezing/general sucking, so I re-watched raw in HD and again subbed today. OK, I fully agree with the majority's opinion on this episode ~ we have again bee tricked by CX!! Jun is not the 一番 of this drama. With the way I understand about ep 3 summary, he's probably more like the 三番!! CX, aren't you clever? Your favorite's got the delicious character without having to shoulder the rating. Jun, truly at his best condition (face, body, acting, you name it), is just...being used. CX, do you care to explain how it is possible that the 一番 had a total screen time of, oh, 15 minutes? How is it possible that the the 一番's existence in an episode is not remotely pivotal for the movement of the plot? My lord, this is a 10-ep Doroma, not a 6-season Lost. You cannot afford a slow developing character. You cannot afford a big gap in humor, action, and dialog from episode to episode (and why the hell a change in writer in ep2?) and inconsistencies. If you lose a viewer in the beginning/middle of the season, they will not come back! As simple as that.
And CX, aren't you laughing at the rating increase in ep2? And okay, how the heck it is possible that this entire season only CX had rating increases from ep1 to ep2???? That was bitter sweet. From my POV, the key reasons for the slight raise are external 1) ep1 was artificially lower than what it should have been because of the two competing strong special programs, 2) BIG FREAKING SNOW STORM IN KANTO AREA, hello! of course more people stay home and watch TV? 3) people actually ENJOYED ep1 (where you could actually concur who the 一番 was) and so they returned for ep2. So now what's going to happen to Ep3??
