this weekend was wonderful. on saturday me, jeff, bethany, jeremy and jeremy's friend from school met up in cleveland and did some exploring. first we went to the Quincy building.

then we went to the warner and swasey building. which is an abandoned telescope factory.

we havent been exploring in a long time so it felt good :) after our adventures we met up with garrett and went to jimmy johns. it was closing time so they offered us free bread to take home. we asked what they were going to do witht he rest and they said they were throwing it out. so we asked for all of it. they gave us a garbage bag full of bread. after that bethany and i went to the west side market. the people that work there are so funny. they all wanted us to buy THEIR bananas.
the next day after church we made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches out of all the jimmy johns bread we had and bought a ton of water bottles with plans to feed the homeless. it was me, jeff, bethany, ashley, amanda, josh, tim, cassie, lydia, garrett, mike, josh, tim, sarah, and katie. there was a very large group of us so we split into 3 groups of 5. and took different sections of cleveland to pass our food out. we all ended up in public square because thats where the largest concentration of homeless people was. we gave out about 50 sandwiches, A LOT of water bottles and some bread. we met a lot of cool people and some weird ones too. one man told us he worked for a newspaper and he wanted to write a story about what we were doing. he took a picture of us and took all of our first names. but i'm pretty sure he was just a deinstitutionalised mental patient. i dont think we'll actually be getting in the newspaper.. there were also other people passing out food where we were too. they were an organization called Food not Bombs. they were just a bunch of young kids too. it was fun meeting them. they want to join forces with us. they have a place where they actually make the food every sunday. they make hot meals. i thought that was really cool.<
after that jeff and i drove out past chardon to brian's graduation party. we had a good time there. we watched brian golf. i got to hold an AK47. we shot off fireworks. ate some good food.
it was a good weekend.
