so this weekend was really good. saturday jeff and i went and ate at bennigans till our tummies hurt from being so full.. then we went and got a pumkin and carved it like a pumkin we saw in a deftones video. it looked scarrrryy. we then went to the devendra banhart show at the beachland ballroom. it was good. the first band was bad though. do not listen to "bunny brains" ugh. they are the worst.
sunday morning jeff, bethany and i drove to my second cousins house in newton falls for a little family get-together thing. we drove seperate from my parents and grandparents. it took us about 45 extra minutes to get there cause we stopped and looked at every building we thought was abandoned.. and the directions were a bit confusing. we hung out at my cousins.. jumped on the trampoline and got to hear lots of interesting family history.. stuff that i never heard before. it was fun. i love them.
after a while jeff, bethany and i wanted to drive over to youngstown because it was only about 15 minutes away. we wanted to go explore an abandoned amusement park called Idora park. we asked my cousin adam if he wanted to come and his mom came too. so we get there and we find where it was supposed to be.. but nothing was there.. there was a cop sitting near by so we asked him if idora park was there.. and he said it had recently been torn down.. everything was gone. that was really dissapointing. we found a big building more downtown and explored it. that was fun. we also found an awesome abandoned school.. but it was getting dark and the guy that lived next door was outside watching us. we're going to go back there sometime soon to explore it.
