Also, I would like you to know that I showed your stuff to my friend the other day (since we were at the amusement park together, lol. She's an artist that writes, too!), and she said to tell you that A) your stuff is awesome, and B) Her favorite thing is the twig that is coming out of Sterre's mom's foot.
Lol, we went on a mini vacation to Universal Studios for two days, so we hung out there on Friday and Saturday. We're both from Florida, so it's only a 3 hour drive to get there. Incidentally, Neon Trees, the band that wrote the song "Animal" was giving a free concert on Friday and totally gave a Glee shoutout before they did the song. I am unsure whether or not Kurt would approve of the lead singer's mohawk/pompadour combo, but I know for sure that Blaine would approve of his need to climb on and jump off of absolutely everything on stage. And possibly his shameless flirting with his guitarist. Was not expecting manlove in my concert. I was pleasantly surprised
Wait, I thought that you wrote fic sometimes, too? Was I hallucinating? Did I eat some bad seafood? D: D: D:
Hey, kid...America is a big place, and Florida is one of the biggest states. A 3 hour drive ain't nothin'. (I drove 3 more hours to my friend's house in south Florida after that. The 6 hour drive back to my house on Monday? Yeah, that hurt a little bit. XD
( ... )
I live in a country that's not even 300 km long okay, I cannot relate to these things. xD
.........lol that kind of blows but on the other hand it really really doesn't because it's one of those stories you can tell. But a Jurassic Park Water Ride, that sounds like auhghghg awesome. So are there dinosaurs and stuff you pass during the ride? because if so, I am jealous. Partially because I couldn't adopt a dragon from the park I went to last week
If it makes you feel better, I live on an island that isn't even 14 miles long. It's just...off the coast of a huge freaking country. XD
There are totally dinos that you pass by. You're basically cruising down around in this big boat thing going on a mock tour of Jurassic Park (You even go through the iconic doors with epic music), and it's narrated and fun dinos pop up in the lagoon. But then suddenly, something goes wrong and instead of going to see the herbivores, the boat goes off the path into the indoor restricted area, where the bad dinos have broken free. You don't really see any of them to build the suspense, but like, you hear them running overhead and see the wall get clawed and then people are screaming. Then suddenly, big daddy T-rex pops out of the fog and leans down to eat you, but the miraculously big drop saves you from his clutches.
And now I want to go chill at the park with you. XD
You can totally come. We'll pet the T-rex together and eat dino legs (They're actually turkey legs, shhh)
I had to google that park, but it looks awesome despite the truly terrifying mascot. BRB, turning in my frequent flier points. I haven't been to Europe since high school! <3
Oh, you. <3 Mmmm...dino. I'll bet they taste kind of like a mix between alligator and some kind of poultry since they're distant relatives to birds. I heard that scientists recently discovered that Velociraptors actually had coats of downy feathers! They suddenly seem much less terrifying. XD
I visited Germany and Austria in high school for a music festival, and it was super neat 'cause I got to meet some of my Austrian relatives~ I went to China for another music festival, and I lived in Korea and Japan for a bit. I wish I could travel more, but America is just so damn far away from everything. ;_;
So what crazy-cool places have you been to? I'm guessing a fair amount in Europe on holiday? :3
Ooh, that sounds kind of cute. Let's make one. And I have no idea how an alligator tastes, but in case it doesn't work out I guess we can always just make handbags out of dinoskin. :D
..... the thing with far away places is that they are, in fact, far away. XD Psh, America is just compensating. I think you should just let every state live for itself and give em all different languages and stuff. just to make it nice and confusing.
pffff I wish. I've only been to Luxembourg/Belgium/France/Spain
Dino handbags sound fab. <3 Hmmm, alligator tastes like...fishy chicken, I guess. They're like, everywhere down here, so they're kind of viewed as pests, but people do raise them for food and their skin. /The more you know!
We really should. Though I think that more people speak Spanish in my state than English. There's a reason people call it "Northern Cuba". XD And yet my Spanish is so fail. *gringa* :(((
That's still a lot of cool places that I haven't been! Spain sounds like it would be fun to visit~
