The Awakening (2010)
Since the majority of my life is spent laughing at (and enjoying for the most part) B horror movies, I figured it would be the best choice for my first entry.
Unfortunately for me, this movie is a steaming pile of awful. There is nothing about this movie that can be enjoyed, beyond the predictability of it. Bunch of young people, mostly horny for no reason except it seems to drive a bad story to worse, multiple bars, shady "satanic" dark party folk, dodgy locals who warn people "not to wander around the area at night" and just when you think the one techno track will repeat itself in yet another bar, the grad student shows up to talk about the demon that was (okay I kind of stopped paying attention) cast into the north from Mexico?
More party shots. Trippy camera. Boobs. Costumes. Oh shit, is that another creeper with a beard? And why is it that every time a rave or party turns evil, someone has to eat a heart?
I didn't finish the movie. That's how fucking awful it is.
