[There's a short burst of static before the audio function comes into full effect, but the speaker doesn't say anything for a moment. When he finally does speak, it is in hushed tones; confused but with a touch of recognition - as if he knows speaking any louder will draw unwanted attention. It's obvious he thinks the device is some kind of tape recorder and is talking more or less to himself.]

I thought maybe I was dreaming, but the night doesn't last this long.
