I climbed great heights and stood in awe of the tiny headlights traveling down familiar roads. A glow to the north accompanied with grey smoke hinted a wood fire. Adrenaline fired through my veins, fighting the cool air. I sat at the edge of my platform and looked down to see nothing but the tops of trees.
For this moment, amongst the chilly gusts of wind in a world of cross-braces and ladders, I was the king of my universe. All problems were left behind, grounded hundreds of feet below steel-lattice flooring.
So, here's to love, to youth, and to life. These are the moments that make memories.
I had a great day. I hope all of you did, too.
