Weellll, I suppose I have updates or whatever. I'll try to lay them all down here. In no particular order:
Last night, while I was chilling (I've recently started saying chilling or chillin' a lot; sorry) at Downham's, I got a call from Sowash. He came and picked me up. We took my guitar/amps with his drums over to his grandma's house and jammed in a bedroom. It was loud, but it was pretty rad. I'm becoming ever pumped for Saturday's show and more. We'll be starting a band pretty soon. He's got a couple of guys lined up to join us.
As it turns out, Sowash has every hook up in the book. I'll detail what I can remember. Best thing: sometime during or before August, we can go down to Nashville (to the best recording studio in the country) and have a full free week of recording. So, like, EP, fershizzle. I guess he's got a standing offer for shooting a free music video. Uhh, he can get a show anytime at the Emerson, and we can pick the bands to play with us. Lots of good things, and I'll be in on it for sure. :D
Oh. My capo came in today. I bought it (taking money out of my recently set up checking account...woo) earlier today. I soon realized I need to buy new strings for my acoustic. AGAIN. Because Martin strings suck so hard, it's unreal.
I suppose I did graduate. That was pretty entertaining. I feel good. On Sunday, Chris, Jeremy, and I went to Amanda Currie's open house. It was cool. I'll probably miss her. Then we all headed out (following Adam and Marianne) to Justin Emmons'. We had pretty simple instructions on how to get there. Somehow, we missed the entrance to where he was, and we ended up traveling way too far. We had given up on the hunt and were traveling back when we finally spotted it. Waaay closer to town than we expected. So, we hung out there for a very long time, because Justin = rad. Later that night, we all met up (Cole, Chris, Justin, Jeremy, me) at the theater to see The Strangers. Chris had seen it, and he liked it. It was pretty decent (for the love of god, ignore the ending). Afterward, Arby's. We hung out and ate there. It was good times. Hopefully we'll hang out with Justin again soon.
Uhm. Yeah. I forget stuff. However, I'm currently at Adam's house. Jeremy, Adam, Chris, and Chris are all playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'd play, but I suck, and I'm content on this here interwebs. So, that's all for now. :)
