I'd like to just say i'm happy i only have to go though this college search thing once more. And this time, all the programs i'm looking at are "backups" which i may not even go to if i get accepted to them and not my majors. For once, i'd like to really shoot high and try my damnedest to go exactly where i want to go and nowhere else. Here's my current list
The Top-Two, if i get into either, i WILL go...in order i would choose them!
Princeton
Cornell
The Rest- Losers that get consideration but i probably won't attend even if i get in...unless i know i'll never get into either of the top two
Yale
CUNY Grad Center
Bowling Green
U Michigan
and maybe more. I just requested info form Bowling Green. I seriously looked there for my masters but at the last minute decided not to apply. Their doctoral program looks quite interesting, open ended, and has an internship in a non-musician oriented business (ie orchestra management, entertainment technology, etc). HM, WONDER WHAT I'D DO FOR THAT?!? heheh, yeah, i think John would let me hang around another summer at CQS even after i left. heck, i might summer out here and do it anyway, just for fun. Anyway, yeah, still looking at programs though. If ya know any goodies (not that more than 4 people read this anyway, but still) that offer FULL Assistanceships/Fellowships, let me know. I aint goin' if it aint free with a stipend. I already owe way too freakin' much. yep yep. And now, hoping to poke emily awake to get some dinner
