I made a promise to myself today that I'd start making drastic changes in my lifestyle. It begins with my eating habits and ends with my social behavior.
I'm limiting myself to a chicken and fish onry diet. Rice is okay so long as it's brown rice. Wheat bread only. No more red meat. No more sodas. No more juice. Of course, none of this applies to my drinking habits so long as I can manage to keep up the second part of my 'drastic lifestyle changes'.
Exercise. Tomorrow I'll sign up for a membership at 24HR Fitness. The gym is nearby. They're open all hours which means I can go at midnight when few people are there which makes for a more comfortable workout enviornment for me. Exercising on a regular basis should serve as good encouragement for me to quit smoking.
I cut my hair today. I bought a new bodywash and deodorant. It has a very weak, but distinct and pleasant smell to it. I purchased some new clothes for the first time in YEARS. Somewhere down the line I expect to develop some sort of taste or style in the things that I wear, but for now I'm not too worried.
And as I start to develop these healthier habits I suspect that the more active sort of living will also help me to be more social and outgoing. When I say outgoing what I mean to say is going out. Not just for drinking.
I just hope that I can remain consistent with these changes.
