Waterbending has always been my favorite, so watching The Last Airbender was... especially painful.

Not because they ruined Katara's character. Not because they failed to show any healing. Not because Yue became a dickhead. And not because Koizilla was omitted.

the ribbon is fail, too. It's not an actual ribbon. It's three short strips of cloth that you can VELCRO together to MAKE a ribbon.

The toys, oh the toys. There are eight blue bags and four red ones. the four red ones are the ribbon, the katara figure with what looks like a water whip but doubles as a bracelet, a Kyoshi warrior green fan (with card!) that inexplicably has 3d moving Katara on the back, and the stuffed Momo. The blue bags are action figures, rock throwing lizards, hamster wheel Zuko, Momo and Appa insert inappropriate comment here, and fakey snakey dragon.

Toys are SRS BZNZ with me.

yeah, see, I think we gave too much credit to McDonalds over their win commercial, and not enough to the ad agency that created it. They're the real winnerz. The toys OTOH... sheesh. Even by happy meal standards.
