Most of 'em don't mind shipping as far as I've seen, though it's been mostly on large shipping posts and/or porn posts. I'm just... overly paranoid no thanks to the hell I got at ASN. Got basically mobbed just for saying I like Zutara in a thread and for thinking it was going to be canon (and no one seemed to notice I moved on after the fact <<+ I disabled PMs and got the fuck out as soon as I could).

Also, DEFINITELY looking forward to the shipping post. :> *cackles and runs through long ass list o' ships*

That's horrible. I'm absolutely neutral about shipping and I would never flame others for it. I've heard pretty bad things about ASN forums.. so I've kept my distance.

Yeah, it was insane. I basically got the fuck outta dodge as soon as that Book 4 Air video came out because I knew it'd be a gazillion times worse (thanks Bryke, no really your world building skills are amazing, but plz to be staying out of fandom affairs, kthx :|). I shudder to think what would've happened to my poor inbox had I left PMing intact.

At least because I ran from ASN to capslock_zutara, I got sucked into LJ and eventually got here? XD

Yep, they're pretty vicious for teens and supposedly adults. :\ I used to post artwork on there, and they had a post about what to ask Mike&Bryan in the San Diego CC to which I replied that it'd be cool to have a continuation of the story like maybe 50 years later. And I was flamed because it sounded stupid to them. *rolls eyes* WHO'S YO MOMMA BEEYATCH??? GUESS HOW MIKE&BRYAN ARE GONNA CONTINUE THE STORY????

SERIOUSLY! I remember I had stopped by to see what was going on with a couple threads and was saddened so much that several of the members I once was friends with were celebrating prop 8 passing. DX I vowed never to set foot there again. After the casting fiasco from hell and how I heard they responded, I'm glad I never did. XP

Also, ROFL at your prediction becoming mostly true! XD and by mostly I mean minor timeline difference x3

Heh, heh, :D If only M&B listened to my suggestion, Aang would still be alive. :P But I guess it's a bit more interesting to see them go further into the future rather than just one generation at a time. :D
