Montreal shuts down Pamela Anderson's PETA ad campaign - deeming it too sexy.
Montreal film commissioner Daniel Bissonnette, whose office denied the permit, called it a difficult situation.
"On one hand we're working for an organization where we're getting reminded on a daily basis that we should work in a sexism-free environment and that equality between men and women and the image of women is very important," Bissonnette said.

Most of their media contains women with little clothing. I've seen a few with men, but those are tucked into magazines while boobs are plastered on billboards 20' high - and anyone daring to question them is assumed to be a bloody, heart-eating carnivore fond of kicking puppies.
I love Montreal for doing this - yes, they are "progressive and edgy" and are kind of known for their strip joints, but that's not the same as being sexist and supporting this kind of crap, Pam. I couldn't help but think if she were cut up like a side of beef, they'd throw out half of it for being inedible, if you catch my drift.
