Fraser’s Delma, Delma fraseri. One of Australia’s legless geckos, family Pygopodidae. AKA Flap-footed Lizards, or Snake-lizards, and found here and in Papua New Guinea

This one was a hatchling I found near bushland in Aubin Grove, Perth. The adults are two feet long, can squeak, and can hear more highly-pitched noises than any known reptile. Delmas eat invertebrates, but the large Pygopodid Burton's Legless Lizard hunts skinks.
