they do that all the time at the Fort Pierce nuclear and gas power plant as well. the power plant is sort of a hangout for the buggers and the wallow around and eat the vegetation that grows in the outlet streams.

btw, manatee farts are DISGUSTING.

there's a little bridge that goes over the outlet stream and the manatees seem to group up there observing us as we observe them. And occasionally one of them rolls over and lets loose and ass cannon shot.
Last time that happened, I had little bits of manatee shit all over me, which is basically half digested plant material.

I went swimming in power plant discharge water in lake Erie, just outside of Cleveland.

I'm still deciding what I should name the tumour when it arrives.

If you lived down here long enough you would know that. I can't remember when I first heard about it though, I've been down here since '69.
