You know, they say it's the poor kids that have the frontal lobe damage, but man...I have met some stupid-ass rich kids. Good ol' college, lowering a person's faith in humanity one class at a time!

I work in market research, and my employer hires kids straight out of college. OMG, WTF, I'm surprised these kids can wipe their own butts, let alone deal with the jobs they were hired for (and honestly, the rollover at that level is freakin' enormous). USC and UCLA graduates that don't know what "cartography" means (and we deal with mapping demographic data), or why yellow on white might be a bad idea in a line chart or... gah!

Oh, that makes me cry.

I wish the US hadn't formed this freakish Cult of Higher Education(tm). Clearly, there is a LARGE segment of our population that does NOT need higher education, cause they're sure as hell not paying attention to it! And then we churn out idiots like that and expect a college degree to MEAN something?

I'm not very old myself, but I have a lot more work experience than my peers. Working with them...makes me want to choke people. Full on Homer Simpson choking and shaking and screaming "WHY ARE YOU SO DUMB? WHY? WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?"
