Never thought I'd have something to post here, but it figures it came from PetSmart.

Last week, I bought crickets, and as I was tossing them in my lizard's cage, I noticed one had another, dead cricket stuck to him. I tried to shake them loose, but no go. On closer inspection, it turns out there was only one cricket, with a giant growth coming out ( Read more... )

Get a BALL mason jar, drop him in, and then fill with either mineral oil or rubbing alcohol (but I'm not sure if the alcohol will break down the dead tissue)...
This is a guess, and if I'm blowing monkeys out of my butt, please, for the love of cheese, somebody give better advice!
Oh yeah, and secure the lid on the jar.

That was my first thought, but unfortunately, I don't know where to get any.

Also, I'm allergic to formaldehyde v_v

I used isopropyl to store my dog's tumors because I thought they were cool. They did shrivel up after a while, but after a certain point they preserved. I'm sure something else would have been better.
