(no subject)
When I was a little kid I saw a Discovery channel special on creatures of the Amazon. One of the features was a flat frog-type creature about the size of a dinner plate...I thought it was called a Nematode, but Google seems to disagree. Anyway, this thing was completely WTF because it laid its own eggs in its back which formed inside of the skin...when it was time for the little ones to be hatched, the skin broke and the mother was left with tons of holes in its back....just the thought of it makes me want to vomit. It gave me nightmares.
I figured you guys might know what it is called. Anyone? I'll edit the post to include pictures and everything once it's identified.
