There was a guy who did have his "twin" removed from his face.... its mouth moved with his. It also had some brain....I wondered about the ethics there. But oh well, no-one else did, so it must have been pretty obviously non-sentient.

That's a good question. I was wondering about the ethics of having the parasite part of the twin removed. I guess you would classify a twin as parasitic when one part can't survive without the other, and at that point it would be okay to remove the parasitic part, but, then if that's true, what about all the conjoined twins who can't live without the other? Obviously those are very different circumstances, but when does it become unethical to remove a twin from its host?
