There are no volcanos where I am.

There totally are just you don't know it. :p

I live in possibly the least seismically active area on earth (south-west Australia) and I realise I'm not 100% safe, only about 90%.

Mother Earth, she is a cruel bitch.

Unless these volcanoes burst forth from prairies, there are no volcanos where I am.

I'm now seriously reconsidering my moving-to-California plans. o_o

I don't think you'd be much safer in Massachusetts than Cali if such a supervolcano was going to ruin the whole world's atmosphere. D8

As far as I know. No part of the Rocky Mountain Range is considered live.

But if one of these supervolcanos were to erupt, it would probably cause the range to shift a bit. Which in turn would cause MANY earthquakes and lives lost.

I could be wrong. But that's what ran through my head when reading through this post. (AND, I just woke up. So, I'm probably just spewing out useless information.)

It doesn't take a supervolcano to screw up the weather world-wide. Tambora erupted in 1815; 1816 is known as the year without a summer. There was misery and famine around the world.
