THE REGENERATION
Its been 23 years since the war has ended, and all things considered, things have been relatively quiet. The greatest concern of any student being the fact that three-scroll essay must be turned in by Wednesday or a failing grade will be received, no exceptions. Even outside the school walls, the world is as normal as anyone can remember it being- by wizarding standards, anyway. But survivors of the war are finding that, just because everyone is not in life-threatening danger, doesn't mean there is any less drama as days go by.
Prejudices still linger, the bitterness between pureblood and halfblood still exists- simply in a reversed manner, and in a more focused way. Sons and daughters of Death Eaters, whether names were cleared or not, are still paying for the mistakes of their forebears, while the exact opposite holds true for the children of the prestigious Order of the Phoenix. Veterans of the war face the same prejudices, if not more intensely than their children. But all of this happens as an undertone. There has been no outrageous hostility between purebloods and halfbloods since the end of the war. The line between the pair is, it seems, more blurred than it has ever been before.
Healing simply takes time.
Regeneration is an RP community based after the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, focusing on the post-war lives of the second and third generations. Plot is driven by you, the players- so run wild!
