So, this is going to be similar to the
shoebox_project except that it's not slash. And if I can find someone to draw pictures, we'll have pictures! Yay! Also, It is untitled, so feel free to suggest one!
“Albus Severus. After the two greatest Headmasters Hogwarts’ ever had,“ he thought to himself as he walked toward his room, “Yeah, sure, whatever Dad, just because you had a hard time at school doesn’t mean you have to give me one as well. Honestly, “Albus Severus” what kind of name is that? Personally, I think ever since Dad fought with Voldemort, he’s been a little crazy. But I suppose I would too, if I finally got to be a kid after 17 years.”
“He wasn’t always like this though,” he thought again as he turned the corner of the unfamiliar house they were staying in for summer holidays, “He used to be quite sane. Sane enough to fight the evilest wizard of all time.” Albus continued walking down the hall, when suddenly, his foot hit something hard. “Ouch!” he gasps, examining his foot. “What was that?” He looks down to see James’ broomstick.
“Bloody hell, effing broomstick…I’ll show you James.” he muttered picking up the broom. “Try to find it now.” He said as he put it on the top of the tallest cabinet he could find. He turned around in the hallway. Stubbing his toe had thrown him off course and now he had no idea where he was. “Stupid house, why is it so big? Who needs all this room? I bet Scorpius could fins his way out.” He said trying to find something familiar in the hallway.
Scorpius Malfoy was Albus’ best friend. They had met at Hogwarts when they were both sorted into Slytherin. Not that it matters anymore what house you’re in, because everyone likes each other. Harry had told Albus all about Draco Malfoy, and how horrible Draco was. Then he told Albus the story of how Draco was supposed to kill Dumbledore, and the fact that he couldn’t bring himself to. Draco had told Scorpius of the famous Harry Potter, and how when they were at school, he had despised Harry. He also told Scorpius how he respected Harry, because he saved Draco’s life twice in one night. In any case, Scorpius and Albus became friends, and by the second year, they were nearly inseparable. Everyone in the Malfoy family likes Albus, but it is not the same for the Potter family. Lily likes Scorpius and so do Harry and Ginny. James, however, really, really hates him, for no discernable reason. Rose Weasley (Albus’ cousin) also likes Scorpius, but Hugo is the same as James. Albus can’t figure out why James and Hugo hate Scorpius so much. He doesn’t understand, even Kreacher the creepy house-elf likes him. Though, that may just be because Kreacher likes anyone related to the Blacks and that is nice to him.
Albus is fourteen now, and incredibly lost in the summer house.
“Maybe this door is the one that leads into the living room,” he hopes and opens it. He is greeted by Rose and Scorpius, quite literally “going at it.”
“So, that was definitely not the right door, then,” He whispers and tries to close the door without them noticing. He must have no luck in the world because Rose spots him and immediately jumps away from Scorpius as if he’s burned her, all the while her ears turning bright pink.
“ALBUS! Oh, oh dear. Ohhh dear….” she cries.
“Really! I’m sorry! I was just getting- I didn’t mean to interrupt! I was lost and thought this was the door to the living room.” Albus said, trying not to laugh as Rose trips over a sock on the ground.
“Well, I guess I’ll go pack my stuff then,” Scorpius says and leaves the room, embarrassed.
“Uh, Albus, about that-” Rose started, but he cut her off.
“Don’t worry,” Albus told her, “I won’t tell anyone.”
“Thank you, my father would kill me!” She says smiling, still a bit pink in the face, whether or not it was from embarrassment, it was hard to tell.
“So, when did this start?” He asks, “I can tell this wasn’t the first time it had happened.”
“Oh, last year, actually. We were paired in Potions together, and well, it just…happened.” She answered getting quite pink again, especially around the ears.
“Well, don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone, but if he hurts you, just tell me and I’ll hit him ’round the head with a broomstick for you.” Rose laughs nervously and leaves the room.

“AL! JAMES! LILY! EVERYONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE! DINNER!” cries Ginny, magically magnifying her voice so everyone could hear. I left the room to try to find the dining room.
“Albus? Are you alright?” asks Ginny, “You look like you’ve just seen the world’s ending or something.”
“What? Oh, no I’m fine,” He answers, shaking his head and then smiling. “This looks great!” he adds, taking his place.
Everyone else slowly makes their way into the dining room. Scorpius sits down next to Albus, with Rose across from him. They avoided looking at each other while Albus looks at his plate.
“So, how was everyone’s day? Anyone see or do anything interesting?” asks Harry.
Albus chokes slightly on his juice, “Nope, not really.” He replies.
“Are you all right?” His father asks.
“I’m fine, really, I just swallowed wrong,” Albus replies, wishing his dad would drop the subject. Harry looks at his son oddly and then turns to his other son James.
“What about you, James? You do anything fun?” he asks.
“No, “ replies James dully, “I just worked on my Hebology project for Professor Longbottom. I think he’s a bit off his rocker.”
“James!” Harry says sharply, “I will not have you disrespect my comrades like that! Neville Longbottom is not crazy.”
“Okay, Dad, I’m sorry,” James says and continues to eat his food. They all eat in silence for a few minutes.
“Who wants to play some Quidditch against the neighbors?” Harry asks the table.
“We haven’t got any neighbors, Daddy,” Lily says, looking slightly confused.
“Yes, well, be neighbors I meant people that I promised I would play Quidditch against two weeks ago and this is the only time I can do it,” he answered her.
“Oh well, in that case I will,” she told her father. “I will too,” said Albus and everyone at the table agrees, except Rose, who doesn’t like flying.
Hugo and Scorpius glare at each other. Albus nudges Scorpius and says, “What’s wrong, Scor?” Scorpius gets up and motions for Albus to follow him. Albus excuses himself and follows Scorpius into the hallway.
“What’s wrong, mate?” He asks again, now out of earshot.
“I just really hate Hugo. I can’t even describe it. And there’s no reason for it either.” Scorpius says.
“Well, maybe you’d better be nice to him, considering your snogging his sister almost every chance you get.” Albus says with a warning tone.
“And don’t,” he adds, “do anything stupid during the match.”
“What would I do?” Scorpius asks.
“I don’t know, knock him off his broom, making him fall fifty feet and break his neck?” Albus replies. “Oh yes, I suppose that would be stupid.” says Scorpius looking thoughtful.
“Yes, yes it is.”

It’s a rather chilly day for August, but the sun is still out so no one minds.
“Look! There they are!” Harry says to his family as seven or eight, rather large figures walk towards them. Albus recognizes the one in the front.
“Hello Shacklebolt! How are you?” Harry asks shaking hands with the large, bald man.
“Just fine, just fine,” he replies looking around.
Everyone mounts their brooms and a man that came with the Ministry men says, “Okay, everyone ready? On my whistle, three, two, one-” and then they all hear a sharp blast from a whistle and shoot off into the air.
Kingsley gets a hold of the Quaffle and streaks down the pitch. Albus tries to block him but fails, and Kingsley shoots. James blocks it and throws it out to Scorpius who goes down the pitch. Albus follows him and waits for the pass.
“Albus! Here!” Scorpius yells, passing him the Quaffle. Albus takes it and throws it as hard as he can. The ministry keeper misses and everyone cheers.
“Good job, ma-,” Scorpius begins but is cut off by a bludger to the face. Albus looks around and sees Hugo looking smug. He looks back at Scorpius who begins to fall off his broom.
Rose screams as Scorpius falls, blood pouring from his now disfigured nose. Harry slows him down with his wand and Scorpius lands rather softly. Everyone bolts down toward him and they all land at the same time.
“Is he alright?” asks Rose through her hands, her eyes wide.
“He will be fine,” says Kingsley, now muttering words at Scorpius. The blood disappears and Kingsley taps Scorpius’ nose and it is fixed.
“Let’s take him inside.” Harry says and Kingsley picks him up and follows. Everyone except Albus, Rose, Hugo and Lily go back inside.
“Why did you do that Hugo!?” Rose asks angrily.
“Do what? I didn’t do anything.” Hugo replies.
“That’s a lie and you know it! I saw you! I saw you hit that bludger at him! Now tell me why you did it!” Rose yells.
“Because I see the way he looks at you! And I see the way you look at him! It was a warning! To both of you! He’s no good Rose, and you know that!” He yells back at her.
Rose is shocked. Then her shock turns to anger, and her anger turns to rage. Her whole body is shaking and she turns white, her lips form a thin line. She opens her mouth as to say something, but then decides against it and storms into the house, slamming the door.
“What was that about, then?” Lily asks Albus.
“I don’t really know,” he replies untruthfully and leads her into the house, leaving Hugo to calm down.

Albus finds Scorpius sitting on his bed.
“I think he knows about you and Rose, mate” Albus says to him.
“Impossible, you and my father are the only people that know,” Scorpius replies somewhat groggily.
“Well, he knows you like each other, that’s for sure. It’s why he sent the bludger into your face,” Albus tells him, looking at Scor’s now slightly crooked nose.
“Well, he is crazy, that’s for sure,” Scor says, and Albus silently agrees, “He probably gets it from his father,” Scor adds thoughtfully.
“Why does his dad hate your dad so much?” Albus asked.
“They hated each other at school, I suppose,” Scor says, “My dad says that he always used to make fun of Ron for his lack of money and stuff. He feels horrible about it now. Especially since..y’know…”
“Yeah,” Albus replied, “yeah.”
