If they toys don't have quality control, they can't be proven safe. Just because something is 'organic' doesn't mean it is safe. I agree with the law.

The new law requires expensive testing that even though these businesses could pass the tests, they can't afford the tests. Hence, it's a stupid law.

Maybe it shouldn't be mandatory, but if I were a parent I would want my children to play with toys that have excellent quality control.

If it's homemade and organic then there probably was no toxic stuff involved in the making. So if such a toy has no obvious dangers (obvious to the parents) then it will, in all likelyhood, be safe.

This law will kill small businesses as fayanora said and concentrate power in the hands of a few large corporations.
