"The Post"

An incredible film, "The Post" reminds us that as bleak as things may seem today, this is far from the first administration to feed the American public lies and to ban reporters from the White House. It illustrates why The Washington Post's motto is "Democracy Dies in Darkness." As long as there are bureaucrats who seek to bury the truth for the sake of their own egos, we will always need honest reporters, lawyers, judges, and others to stand up for what is right. When the emperor has no clothes, saying so is neither libel nor treasonous; rather, it is the obligation of the press to inform the public.
