This week's episode of "Arrow," while perhaps not the best episode of the series, I would say is the best of the season.
Felicity has walked away from Oliver (literally). She has given him back his ring and while I am still, as you may know, not thrilled with the plotline that lead to this (i.e. Oliver's long-lost son, William--or, for that matter, Thea's bio-dad, Malcolm Merlyn, who should have died in season one), I cannot argue with the results.
Let the Quiver shipping resume!
Turning away from shipping, this week's episode introduces those of us who do not follow the comics to Vixen, whose best line is of course, "How about I kick your ass like a woman?" Vixen is brought in as a magical expert to combat you know who and to give Oliver parenting advice.
Thea Queen finally sees the light and realizes associating with Merlyn only serves to spit on Robert Queen's memory. (It only took her how many years to come to this conclusion?) Though, horrifyingly enough, broken clock Merlyn did seem to have a point about Thea having been little more than a brat back in the day, he then has the nerve to claim credit for her personal growth and continued existence. By show of comments, does anyone actually like Malcolm Merlyn and if so, for god's sake, why?!
