Literally.
I pretty much don't cry, so in order to record them for future contemplation, I'm turning to my faithful, if neglected, livejournal.
Back March 2017 or so, listening to The Kinks' "Father Christmas" while walking home from the library. Probably from missing the kids and stressing out over being broke.
Today, over:
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/free-school-lunch-for-every-child-in-infant-school Partly thinking about how often I would have been hungry without breakfast and lunch at school.
Partly because it is a good, caring, looking out for people who really need it thing.
Apparently one of the common after effects of PTSD is increased emotional response to looking after others, particularly when it involves self-sacrifice or risk.
I've only ever noticed this, increased irritability, and reduced capability to deal with stupidity.
But my ability to roll with stupid is still higher than a lot of people's, even though it is much reduced.
Anyway!
Hello, LJ, it's been a while.
