Hmm (or, it's been almost a year?!?)
The RD is still in pieces -- I need to fix the rear stop/turn lights (there's a short somewhere (probably the light housing itself)), decide if I'm going to weld on the tank or just put it back on, then put gas in it and see if she'll kick over. Then I need to jet her properly. Ick.
Did you know a bare RD-350 frame weighs 35 pounds?
I finally watched Macross Frontier. I've had all of it, fansubbed, since it was new, but only watched the first few eps. I transcoded it so I could play it on the apple tv last week, and finally watched it all.
Kind of awesome.
Inoue Kikuko makes an amazingly good villain.
In other news, vodka will get dried rubber cement out of rugs. The directions I found said rubbing alcohol, but I already have the vodka and my unit is currently forbidden from drinking alcohol, so. And I think I didn't buy the vodka anyway -- I think it was in a pile of "take it away" stuff my wife picked up.
The rubber cement, to show how momentous an occasion this is, was spilled on my rug by my wife before we left Kansas to come to Korea, also known as Summer 2011. I think the cat helped, but she wasn't using glue over my nice bought-in-Iraq rug.
