Tso, I finally get around to what I had been contemplating since my last deployment -- washing out my ears.
Lay down, drip about two ML of peroxide into my ear, and let it bubble. I did the right side first, and extracted something rather surprising:
A dead beetle. Not a tiny one, but one about 6mm in diameter and probably 14mm or so long. The two big pieces that came out were the exoskeleton for the abdomen and thorax . . .
Eww. I wonder how long it'd been in there, and since when . . .
Nothing interesting came out of my left ear, just emulsified ear wax in water.
Just one of those things that you have happen and think "I must tell my LJ about this!"
