So, I decided that my computer that brought me through all of Georgia Tech was ready to retire. The network performance was often abysmally slow and it was running really low on space (when you have 10GB of pictures that you don't have anywhere to put it becomes a problem).
My computer is now running on a new bottom of the line dell, and it's running tons faster. All it took was a few hundred dollars (that I probably shouldn't have spent), an evening, and a half gallon of chocolate milk. I realized just about 15-30 minutes ago that all I've had since I got home was the chocolate mlik.
Well, the new computer is significantly faster, both in processor speed (which helps me put up pictures faster) and in network speed (which keeps me from getting as annoyed at it). I think that next I'll be setting up
squid on it to make it make my web browsing speed faster.
But first I will likely go to bed.
