The Red Wings season was cut short by the officials, not the Oilers.

Did everyone else see that "goal" in the 3rd period of game 6? The puck was clearly kicked into the net after Manny had his glove around it. The officials, after review, blew the call. The Wings were ahead 3-2 at that point (the "goal" made it 3-3). The next goal by the Oilers would have made it 3-3 but instead it won the game for them 4-3, thanks to the officials. The Red Wings shouldn't have put themselves in a position where a bad call could foreclose their entire season, but the fact remains that it did. Congratulations NHL, you've let your officials end the season of perhaps the biggest draw in the playoffs.
