HAPPY NEW YEAR!
And where was everyone this morning for Sunday School?? Poor Robert was by himself, but we had a great discussion on how God wants us to treat those that feel like enemies. :) Ask Robert about his comparison with Ned Flanders! It was great! This month in Sunday School, we are going to be talking about time management, priorities, and building a firm foundation in Christ. Bro. Mike has always said 'It's always a matter of priorities', so in 2006, where are your priorities going to be? Who are going to build your foundation on, Christ or others? Just something to think about this coming week!
If you missed church today, you missed a lot! We had two baptisms! Praise the LORD! :) We also had a prayer service for Amber, as she left for the mission field today to Cleveland. Keep her in your prayers as she begins to serve for two years in Cleveland. Pray that she will be used in God's will.
For this week, we DO have youth on Wednesday! So come!
We are thinking about having a youth get together one of these weekends in January, maybe a movie night at our house or something. We need to know a good weekend and some feedback on what you guys would like to do.
We are already looking into mission trip possibilities for June!
