Rule #1.  Books are always better than films.  Audrey Tautou is gooorgeous.  and so French.  umm.....that was the highlight of the movie, besides all the Parisian scenery.

STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED!!

Reading the book the night before seeing the movie doesn't help, FYI.  Besides Audrey and the Louvre...Paul Bettany: perfect Silas.  I just didn't understand why they didn't give him red contacts?  Short on the budget?  C'mon Sony...

I love love love Tom Hanks, but he wasn't right for Langdon.  The entire pace of the movie felt rushed to me, and correct me if I'm wrong...but I remember there being 2 cryptexes in the book?  There was the "apple" cryptex and anther one...yes?  Don't even get me started with the ending.  Sauniere not Sophie's grand-pere??  where was Sophie's brother??  no Langon/Sophie kiss? :(   was there any mention of Langdon falling into a well in the book?  wasn't Sophie in college when she caught Sauniere doing the crazy sex ritual?  she looked about 14 in the movie -_-   and why did they make Sauniere so mean :(  I always pictured him as a gentle old man, but then Ron Howard had to make him yell at little Sophie :(

and in closing....shit!  I sat on Mrs. Jesus!  XD

p.s. don't forget to play the screencap game!  Da Vinci Code is one of the answers *wink wink*

movies, paris, meme, cool pictures
