I need refreshing on the whole livejournal "CUT" process

Aug 21, 2009 13:57

Alas, the weekend is upon us. This feels like the longest week ever. Perhaps it is because the weekend seemed to just spill over into the week.

Finally, my car is finished! Many thanks to my very dependable Schweeheaht for taking care of my vehicle while we waited for the part and for my Ate who let me ride with her to work this week.

Something I was thinking about this week. We are studying Job in prayer meeting and God has reminded me over and over again to go further into His Word than just what is written in the page.

Job was not born "blameless, upright, one who fears God and shuns evil." The Job we see is the product of one who has walked with God persistently and gotten to know God so much that he trusts Him enough to declare, "Naked came I out of the womb and naked I shall return. Blessed be the name of the Lord."

Job is a process. Job is the Master's work of art. He is a model that we can look forward to reaching as we walk with God and submit to His work on our lives.

Ok, that's it for now.
