Laugh if you must, but growing up I was a pretty big wrestling fan, and I'm still a casual fan, especially of some of the fandom websites (Wrestlecrap.com, home of the funniest podcast out there). That's why it's been pretty depressing to see all of these wrestlers dropping dead over the past few years. Brian "Crush" Adams was one of my favourites for a while there, as part of Demolition and then on his own as this big Hawaiian dude. I loved how he was strong enough to win matches just by squeezing the other guy's head with his bare hands-they even used to do vignettes where he'd go back to Hawaii and crush coconuts. Yes, I realize now that it looked pretty stupid. Didn't stop me from doing it to my brother all the time though in our basement wrestling matches. I was pretty upset when he turned on Macho Man Randy Savage and became one of the *bad guys*, teaming up with the evil sumo wrestler Yokozuna (who also passed away a few years ago). I was such an easy mark. Like most of these wrestler deaths, I would imagine steroids, painkillers, and other drugs played a role in his death, but it's still sad to see so many of the larger-than-life people you grew up watching self-destructing like this, and it seems to happen every few weeks now.
