Okay, my problem with this list is that it's almost all newer movies. Take Texas Chainsaw Massacre for example. I haven't bothered with the new series, mostly becuase I don't see any way that they could top the original series, especially the vastly-underrated Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, a frackin' hilariously over-the-top horror comedy that slyly (well, it's as sly as a movie with the word "chainsaw" in the title can be) satirizes Reagan-era family values. How the hell do the creators of the new movies think they can possibly top giving Leatherface a crazed Vietnam veteran brother who has a steel plate in his head and wears a Sonny Bono wig?

Oh lord. *shudders* Good to see that I'm not the only one who was conned into watching one of those damned Ewoks movies because of the tremulous Star Wars connection. See folks, for some reason in the mid-80s once they weren't doing any actual Star Wars movies, I guess some genius decided that it was time for some TV movie spin-offs. Did this mean we'd get a Chewbacca movie, or maybe something with Boba Fett? Of course not, it meant not one but two monstrosities featuring the least popular original trilogy characters, the adorable little Ewoks. Quite possibly this was all the result of a bet between bored screenwriters as to whose stupid idea could get made into a movie. If I recall correctly, Battle for Endor found the Ewoks teaming up with a mildly annoying little girl, a mean old hermit played by Wilford Brimley who turned out to have a heart of gold, and this catacylsmically retarded little creature named Neek or Tweek or Freek or something like that that had super-speed and made the Ewoks' cuteness unsickening. Why Lucas refuses to let the SW Holiday Special see the light of day but lets this float around on video is beyond me.

As
i_chaos_bringer pointed out with regards to his score, my score's fairly low since the focus is almost exclusively on newer movies, it misses a lot of classic/artsy movies that I've seen. The list's also pretty random in places (White Oleander? Ghost Ship?) I should make my own list of movies that everyone should see...
