Okay...
I told myself a while ago that I wouldn't create a livejournal. Mostly because I felt that anything interesting in my life could be conveyed vocally. Also, because I've never felt that I had anything important to say. However, I have friends that have moved away, and others that will be moving away. Others still, are very busy and my ability to update them grows difficult. So, in the interest of keeping people up to date, I am allowing myself this vanity.
First news to report: I start school again on May 8th. Thank God it's only Real Estate school, which only lasts a month. I have decided to (at long last) join the family business, which is Commercial Real Estate. For the unenlightened, Commercial Real Estate is not the same as Residential. My whole family asserts that selling houses sucks a fat one, while Commercial Real Estate does not.
Miscellaneous Crap:
Finished reading Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. I really liked this book. I'm not a big reader of non-fiction, but this book was really interesting and well-argued. It actually makes some outrageous claims, but backs them up so intelligently that it's hard to argue with a lot of it.
Finally watched The Jacket. I like Adrian Brody and Kiera Knightly, but I wasn't crazy about this movie. It feels like a cross between 12 Monkeys and Jacob's Ladder, but not as good as either. I didn't think it was a bad movie, just very mediocre for it's cast, which was pretty strong. But then, Kingdom of Heaven had a good cast too, and that movie was actually pretty awful.
