on Autumn

Autumn makes me sad
I think of the opportunities missed
Those late blooming flowers - so unexpected, so welcome.
Will be burnt by frost.

Is there any point?
There is joy
But I need… fulfilment
Not just a burst of colour.

My live is like getting a perfect rainbow when you are hungry.
‘Pretty’
‘Mmmm but I’m hungry’
Not hungry enough to stop looking at the pretty colours, and forage.
‘So beautiful.’
But I’m still really quite hungry indeed.

I think I’ll take a nap while I dream about…
My dreams.
