Blame it on the rain
As I sit here grading papers from my students and being depressed because some of my 8th graders read and write at like a 5th grade level I have been staring at an empty livejournal client for the past few weeks trying to think of something, anything to write about But there is nothing I mean, sure there is the mundane everyday life kinda stuff that I could care less if I typed it out or not
I used to write a lot, and some of it, in my opinion was fairly amusing Maybe I dont write anymore, because the p button on my laptop doesnt work (I have to copy and paste a p everytime I want one) or maybe because the period doesnt work, or the apostrophe, or question mark, quotation marks, backslash, the one carrot thing, the colon, and the left side bracket
Yeah, maybe thats it
I got a very nice new camera for Christmas, and I thought that would help because I would take pictures, post them, and write about it, but alas, everything is gray and dead Everyone else is in the middle of some nice snow, and all its done here is get 10 degrees warmer, and rain for 24 hours Awesome
I just dont feel like I have anything interesting to say Isnt that sad
I could talk about sports, or big time wrestling, my overweight cat, or my dog that suffers from ADHD or even how listening to No Diggety brings me back to my days in Zanesville crusing Maple Ave looking for chicks or trouble or anything
I could gripe and complain about my job and the kids I teach, but I have noticed that every teacher hates their students, and I refuse to be that
I could talk about movies I watch - I watched Artie Langs Beer League a hidden gem found in Blockbuster starring Artie Lang and Ralph Macchio (yeah Karate Kid!)- If youve ever played slow pitch softball then you have to watch it
Or how I tried to download 99 Red Baloons and got some punk version instead of the 80s one I wanted, and I felt like banging my head on the coffee table until my ears bled
Maybe about how my middle school boys basketball team I coach has won 1 game all year, but they are getting better
