Chopped off six inches of my hair, dyed it darker and redder, and now I have it styled completely differently from what it was. I'd say this would make it harder for people to find me at Comic Con, but you lucky bastards have never seen a picture of me, so everything's A-okay.

SPEAKING OF NEW YORK COMIC CON, I am currently in the stages of packing. For people who are veterans of these conventions (this is literally my first major one), what are some things you recommend to have with you going on? Like, should I only bring flats because I'll be walking/standing a lot, or can I get away with a nice pair of heels? Should I dress warmly with layers or expect higher temperatures due to the crowding? Should I leave the purse at the hotel, only carry cash, anything else? Are there exhibits that I should flat out avoid because they're always overcrowded or understaffed?

I'm assuming I want to plan out the exhibits I want to attend in advance, but I want to leave my schedule loose since there are a couple people I'm interested in running into at the Con. So, uh, anybody up for drinks/lunch/etc., just PM me. :)

Edit: I think the bruise forming on my arm has less to do with the wall I just ran into and more with the giant bite the hotel expenses took out of my bank account. Ouch.
